Competitions
What Lite-Glo is giving away right now, and the rules that go with it.
How to enter
There is nothing to fill in. You enter by shopping.
Place an order at liteglo.co.za between 1 and 20 September 2026.
Every R2 000 of goods across all your orders earns one entry, counted automatically.
We draw one winner at random on 21 September and let them know the same day.
Cable, breakers, boards, lighting, tools, consumables. It all counts. Counter sales do not: the order has to be placed online.

Full competition rules
Lite-Glo Braai Day Giveaway. These rules are available free of charge for the whole competition period.
1. The promoter
This competition is run by Powerlec (Pty) Ltd t/a Lite-Glo Electrical Wholesalers (registration number 1992/007392/07) (“Lite-Glo”), 209 Bram Fischer Drive, Randburg, Johannesburg. Contact us on 011 781 3100 or through liteglo.co.za.
2. When it runs
Entries open at 00:00 on Tuesday 1 September 2026 and close at 23:59 on Sunday 20 September 2026. Any order placed outside those times does not count towards entries.
3. Who can enter
Anyone aged 18 or over who lives in South Africa and places a qualifying order at liteglo.co.za during the competition period. Directors, employees and immediate family of Lite-Glo, and anyone involved in running this competition, may not enter.
4. How to enter
You get one entry for every R2,000 you spend at liteglo.co.za during the competition period. Spending is counted across all your orders added together, not per order. So R6,400 spent over three orders gives you three entries.
There is no cap. The more you spend across the period, the more entries you hold.
You do not pay anything extra to enter and you do not need to do anything beyond shopping as normal. Prices during the competition are our ordinary prices. Entries are counted automatically from your completed orders.
5. What does not count
Delivery charges, VAT adjustments, and the value of any order that is cancelled, refunded or returned before the draw. Only the value of goods on completed orders counts towards your entries. If the winner cancels or returns the orders that earned their entries, the prize falls away.
6. The prize
One winner will receive a Weber Spirit E-325 GBS gas braai, retail value R12,999 including VAT. It is a three-burner gas braai with a side burner and porcelain-enamelled cast iron cooking grates, supplied new and boxed. There is one prize and one winner.
The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative. If any item becomes unavailable, Lite-Glo may substitute an item of equal or greater value.
7. Delivery of the prize
We will arrange delivery of the prize at our cost as soon as the winner accepts, to a street address in South Africa, and we aim to have it with them in time for Heritage Day.
8. How the winner is drawn
Entries are counted automatically from completed online orders during the competition period. After entries close, one winner is drawn at random from all entries. The draw takes place on 21 September 2026 and the winner is announced on the same day.
9. Telling the winner
We will contact the winner by email and telephone on the day of the draw, Monday 21 September 2026, using the details on their order.
We will announce that the draw has taken place on 21 September 2026. The winner’s name will be published only if they agree to it. Agreeing is not a condition of receiving the prize.
If we cannot reach the winner within seven days of the draw, or if they decline the prize, we will draw again from the remaining entries.
10. Your details
We will use the winner’s name, contact details and order information to run this competition and deliver the prize, and to keep the records the law requires us to keep for three years. We will ask the winner’s permission before using their name or photograph in any announcement, and they are free to say no without losing the prize.
11. Copies of these rules
These rules are available free of charge on liteglo.co.za for the whole competition period, and on request by phone or email.
12. General
Lite-Glo’s decision on entries and on the winner is final. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Protection Act. We may end or change the competition if something outside our control makes it impossible to run fairly, and if we do we will say so on liteglo.co.za. These rules are governed by South African law and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
